    In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide management of the NICU patient care environment and nursing personnel and the delivery of patient care on an assigned shift under the direction of the Unit Director and Clinical Nurse Manager.

    Clinical responsibilities include direct nursing care of patients, including high risk delivery resuscitation, and activities assuring comfort, safety, dignity, continuity and a positive patient experience.

    Leadership responsibilities include coaching and mentoring clinical staff, assessing staff and unit educational needs, providing learning experiences for staff and students, setting standards for high quality care and working collaboratively with others to achieve patient care goals.

    Promotes a culture of safety and is actively engaged in the design and delivery of quality improvement initiatives using QI methodology.

    Serves as clinical expert, patient advocate and role model.


    Salary Range:
    $67.06-$97.43 per hourQualifications


    We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:
    BSN or MSN required

    Minimum 2 years NICU Level III/Level IV experience required

    Current California RN license required

    BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required

    NRP and PALS from the American Academy of Pediatrics required

    High risk neonatal specialty certification (CCRN or RNC-NIC) required

    Two years of charge nurse experience preferred

    Clinical advancement to CNIII preferred

    Ability to communicate effectively with all members of a multidisciplinary team

    Exceptional critical thinking and decision making skills

    Ability to work in a highly stimulating environment with flexibility and adaptability
