      PURPOSE:

      Through a constructive and energetic style, guided by the objectives of the company, the Flex Shift Supervisormanages the Flex Shift Program (variable workforce) and its participants for one distribution center. Is responsible forthe onboarding, training, scheduling, management and vision necessary to ensure that the facility is maximizing theFlex Shift program. Position is also responsible to effectively grow the program both in terms of program headcountand its contribution to the distribution center.

      JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Responsible for overall execution of Flex Shift program at your respective warehouse (managing a teamof associateswith no set schedule and flexible work arrangements).
      Oversees hiring, onboarding and training of a team of Flex Shift associates.
      Supervises and assists with scheduling of Flex Shift associates (crew set up and job assignments).
      Serve as a subject matter expert for the Kronos (UKG) mobile app (will post shifts to be picked up by Flex Shiftassociates).
      Collaborate with the Work, Your Way Program manager to relay Flex Shift program status, and to escalate relatedquestions/issues, as needed.
      Monitoring and enforcing work rules and policies (Creating and Issuing Discipline).
      Conduct order selection trail audits and finished pallet breakdown audits.
      Maintains daily production and accuracy records (thru put eval by area).
      Understands and enforces food safety guidelines.
      Communications regularly with Flex Shift associates to discuss safety, productivity and accuracy (ACE meetings andStretching).
      Walks warehouse daily, with Warehouse Manager, to ensure that safety, security, sanitation and pest control codes,laws, and policies are maintained.
      Ensures the most economical and efficient use of equipment and personnel to accomplish assigned work.
      Develops and maintains good working relationship with all departments.
      Conduct safety trainings (PIT, Lifting Techniques, etc.).
      Performs other relevant job duties as required.

      POSITION DESCRIPTION:

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
      Possess strong general knowledge of all warehousing operations, with prior work experience to include leadperson or supervisory duties, preferably with the Company.
      Possess good supervisory skills and the ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results.
      Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to read and interpret computerized reports.
      Requires the analytical ability to handle administrative duties and mental alertness to ensure accurate, safe, andthorough completion of work activities. Possess the ability to concentrate and deal with frequent interruptions.
      Basic computer skills required and personal computer experience helpful, with word processing and spreadsheetapplications.

      PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/ DEMANDS:
      During part of the workday the incumbent will be moving about the Distribution Center warehouse floor andpotential hazards exist in regard to machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, movement oftractors and trailers, etc.

      Temperatures in the warehouse may vary between 20 to 70 degrees. Noise levels in all areas are withinacceptable tolerance ranges for those specific work areas.
      Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
      Incumbent will use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of the workday.
      Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
      Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures.
      Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
      Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places toperform job duties. Ability to operate work related equipment.

      SALARY RANGE:$58,000-63,000K + opportunityto earn 10% bonus based on the annual salary.
