    Overview Sign-on Bonus Up to $3,000 available to eligible applicants - CLA Kettering Health is a non-profit system of 13 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio. Campus Overview Kettering Health Dayton Kettering Health Dayton, previously known as Grandview Medical Center, has been offering care to Dayton and nearby communities for over 90 years. Offers more than 20 specialties, such as orthopedics, heart and vascular, surgery, and trauma services. KH Dayton has enhanced its Emergency Department and heart & vascular services by adding an extra catheterization lab and electrophysiology lab. Collaborates with Gem City Market to supply fresh fruits and vegetables every Tuesday within the hospital. One of the biggest osteopathic teaching hospitals in the United States. A 371-bed facility. KH Dayton has been recognized with many awards in recent years, including: Top 100 Hospital Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades in 2019. Achieved an "A" rating from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, positioning among the safest hospitals in the United States. Responsibilities & Requirements Job Responsibilities: Performs pre-analytic processing of specimens; gathers specimens; labels and distributes specimens including blood samples by venipuncture and capillary puncture in all patient areas. Instructs patients on collecting urine samples and tolerance tests in all patient areas. Other duties assigned. Job Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old and/or have a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience is preferred and/or graduation from a phlebotomy program.
