We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Engineer to join our team in Mumbai & Pune. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design and implement high-throughput microservices using Spring Boot 3.x and Java 17+, build type-safe database access layers using JOOQ or similar ORM/query-building frameworks against PostgreSQL, define inter-service APIs using Protocol Buffers and gRPC including unary calls server streaming error handling client stub generation RESTful APIs with Spring WebFlux or Spring MVC request validation global error handling API documentation asynchronous event-driven workflows message brokers RabbitMQ Apache Kafka job scheduling domain event publishing event-driven processing patterns develop optimize stream processing jobs Apache Flink Flink SQL transformations stateful processing checkpointing sink integrations search analytics capabilities Elasticsearch OpenSearch index design complex queries bulk indexing pipelines contribute CI/CD pipelines Docker containerization Helm chart management Kubernetes deployments across multiple environments mentor junior mid-level engineers support growth language fundamentals distributed systems proficiency lead technical design reviews code reviews ensuring consistency security adherence engineering standards codebase champion testing practices unit testing integration testing test automation within CI pipelines identify resolve performance bottlenecks database queries message processing interservice communication contribute technical documentation architecture decision records onboarding materials.Job description
