    Description
    A client in the Huntsville area is looking to add several Cost Analyst candidates to their team. They will consider anyone from mid-level to Senior level with 10+ years of experience. This candidate will be responsible for working with the government customer to provide cost analysis and estimates. This job requires the development, maintenance, and analysis of cost estimates for various programs.

    The analyst will be responsible for evaluating contractor cost data, analyzing cost elements, and translating technical system requirements into cost elements.

    They will also be required to evaluate various Courses of Actions (COAs) in the development of an Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), defend cost estimating methodologies to DASA-CE and other Cost Review Board (CRB) members, and validate Program Management Office (PMO) Life Cycle Cost Estimates.

    The analyst will have to apply independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload in a high-paced and detail-oriented environment.

    They will also support reviews of Cost Analysis Requirements Documents (CARD) / CARD-Like documents, Acquisition Strategies, Simplified Acquisition Management Plans, Acquisition Program Baselines, Business Case Analysis, Analysis of Alternatives, cost studies, various briefings and provide support to PMO's in developing milestone documentation.

    ACEIT experience (Automated cost estimating integrated tool)

    Experience supporting PEO Aviation
    2+ years in a Cost Analyst position

    GFEBS Accounting system experience

    IGCE (Independent Government Cost Estimate) experience

    Active Secret clearance

    Strong communication and ability to work directly with the customer

    Bachelor's degree or higher (years of experience can be considered in lieu)
