Our client a large local hospital system is seeking a talented Payroll Professional to add to their team. This position is located on site in the San Diego office.Responsibilities:
Perform a full range of payroll functions including payroll processing, timecard auditing, journal entries and reporting Process paychecks in accordance with all applicable federal, state & local requirements Work with Human Resources staff and department managers to ensure payroll is processed and completed on time Special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
H.S Diploma, GED or Equivalent 3 years of experience in employee payroll processing Experience with Payroll Processing for multiple shifts and job types PeopleSoft experience in a high-volume healthcare environment Knowledge of Federal Form W-2 Reporting Requirements Experience with Automated Time and Attendance Systems
