    Documentation Manager is responsible for overseeing departmental group and implementing organizational standards. Understanding of products and services to translate complex product information. Maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, operation and maintenance manuals of equipment. Plan and direct projects for timely delivery of documents, assignment of serialization requirements and department standardization. Overseeing technical writing team with full authority of personnel actions.

    Responsibilities:
    Assign responsibilities for all required project documentation.
    Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
    Recruit, hire, and onboard new members as team grows.
    Advocate for and represent the team at production and leadership meetings.
    Communicate and coordinate projects with other department leads.

    Enter Engineering Bills of Material into Team Center/JDEProcess ECR's (Engineering Change Request)Locate and retrieve historical documentsIdentify issues and find solutions within the department and databasesQualifications/Requirements:

    Associate Degree in relevant technical field and/or (5) years industry experience.1-3 years supervisory experience.

    Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics .Previous experience with engineering documentation and procedural materials for both customer and internal company use.

    Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
    Experience working with engineering groups to improve technical manuals and documentation.
    Familiar with Microsoft Office & Tools, Adobe Acrobat, and other publication software.
    Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM database a plus.
