    Overview

    10A is a unit specializing in medical telemetry, providing round-the-clock care for adult patients. This unit has been recognized for its outstanding commitment to enhancing patient care and safety outcomes. Patients admitted here have acute medical and/or surgical conditions such as COPD, infectious diseases, diabetes, and more. The unit offers private rooms equipped with advanced features to cater to the patients' needs. Moreover, it is capable of accommodating vented patients unlike any other non-ICU unit.

    Services provided include nursing assessment, airway management, telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, infection control, and medication administration among others. The unit follows a self-scheduling approach ensuring fair rotation of shifts to meet departmental requirements. 10A follows established nursing practices to deliver high-quality patient care.
