    Responsibilities

    To prepare all foods as assigned, following established recipes and procedures

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Prepares meals using recipes
  • Accomplishes pre-preparation of foods for future meals.
  • Assures that all food items are portioned properly and appropriate temperatures are maintained and logged prior to each meal. Reports any problems to the Executive Chef.
  • Follows all proper food handling requirements according to HACCP guidelines.
  • Assists with food preparation for special events as requested.
  • Properly and thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all equipment and work surfaces after each use. Keeps station areas clean and orderly prior to breaks and end of shift.
  • Consistently uses correct sanitation procedures and equipment, to include proper handwashing, wearing hair net, and using plastic gloves. Calibrates all thermometers twice weekly and records time.
