    Description
    A client of Insight Global is looking for a Configuration Specialist to join their team.

    The Configuration Specialist will be responsible for tracking end item configuration documentation like contract deliverables, engineering documentation, bill of material data entry, configuration reports and metrics.

    This person will need to come from a DoD background will be required to work onsite 3 days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays) in Orlando, FL.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Minimum 2 years' experience working as a configuration specialist for software or hardware
    • Experience with version control tools:
    AutoDesk Vault
    Cost Point

    • Come from a DoD background OR has experience applying external industry standards to internal processes/procedures
    • Experience processing engineering documentation and drawings
    • Can review and process contract requirements and can understand contract documents (i.
    e. CDRL, SDRL)

    • Self starter, strong communication, eagerness to learn and grow
    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    • Familiarity with EIA 649 standards
    • Can implement CM principles through lifecycle of program
    • Understanding of hardware development lifecycle
