- Represent Hinds Community College and the Athletic Department positively with integrity and quality.
- Adhere to and enforce all departmental and college policies and procedures, as well as NJCAA and MACCC rules and regulations.
- Assist in all aspects of the baseball program, providing challenges and support to student-athletes.
- Help with organizing and administering the baseball program, including recruiting, coaching in practices and games, conditioning, academic monitoring, and public relations.
- Aid the head coach in recruiting potential student-athletes and scouting opponents.
- Assist in monitoring all strength and conditioning activities and student-athlete academics.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Head Baseball Coach and/or Director of Athletics.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION

The Assistant Baseball Coach is responsible for assisting in building, recruiting, and maintaining a competitive baseball program on the Raymond Campus in line with the goals of Hinds Community College and the policies and procedures outlined in both the Athletic Department Handbook and MACCC Handbook.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
To successfully perform this role, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Education: Bachelor's required; Master's degree preferred
Experience: 1-2 years of competitive coaching experience.
Certificate/License: Familiarity with MACCC and NJCAA governing rules
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
