    FACULTY POSITION

    DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY

    DIVISION OF GENERAL AND ONCOLOGIC SURGERY

    The University of Maryland School of Medicine seeks candidates to join the full-time faculty of the Division of General and Oncologic Surgery, at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Candidates should be board certified in Oncologic Surgery or currently in training in an accredited Oncologic Surgery fellowship program. Responsibilities will include establishing a broad Oncologic Surgery practice at University of Maryland Medical Center, conducting independent clinical or laboratory research, providing care to complex surgical oncology patients at the Downtown Campus, contributing to the comprehensive growth of surgical oncology throughout the Medical System, and education of medical students, surgery residents, and fellows. Candidates should have a clear plan for clinical practice building, academic development, and scholarly activity that is consistent with the mission of the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
    Preference will be given to candidates with fellowship training or previous experience in breast surgery. The School of Medicine is located in downtown Baltimore, Maryland, near the famous Inner Harbor and Camden Yards.
