    Maintenance Technicians are the heart of each market that they provide service for.

    Key Responsibilities


    The Jack in the Box Maintenance Technician is a person who will assess a problem and find the best solution.

    You will have various responsibilities including, but not limited to:


    • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment
    • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled
    maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.


    • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
    • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic,
    troubleshooting and repair of production machines.


    • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
    • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
    • Facilities maintenance
    These are some of the duties you will perform as you provide exceptional service and work with many outstanding employees at Jack in the Box

    Requirements

    If you are 18 years of age or older, can speak, read, and write in English, and have excellent interpersonal skills you already have a chance You will also need some basic knowledge of uniform code books, electrical wiring, plumbing, carpentry, glass replacement, painting, and grounds maintenance including sprinkler systems; pest management; maintenance and repair of hand tools and gas-powered equipment; basic math; safety practices and procedures relating to the building trades.

    There are physical requirements that you must be able to perform such as:

    Standing for 90% to 95% of your shift, constant walking to different parts of the restaurant, ability to reach, stoop, bend, and squat with extra weight.

    Equipment doesn't work only between 8am – 5pm, so being available Monday through Sunday with open availability, is necessary. You must also have the ability to travel to and from different restaurants 85%-90% of the time, i.e. driver's license, a clean driving record, and a dependable vehicle. Other requirements may apply.
