    Luster National Inc., a minority-owned small business, headquartered in Mill Valley, California, with offices nationwide, a highly respected Program, Project, Construction and Consulting Management company, is seeking a ProgramQuality Engineer . This is a full-time, on-site position located in Atlanta, GA.

    About the position

    The Program Quality Engineer (PQE) position works within our GDOT P3 / Design-Build Program Management Consultant (PMC) contract as a member of the PMC's Quality Team. The PQE will assist in the development and operationalization of initiatives within the team. The PQE will work primarily at the programmatic level and additionally may work within PMC's portfolio of projects. Duties will include leading, managing, and aiding in foundational quality elements.

    Responsibilities

    The PQE will report directly to the PMC Quality Manager and will have responsibilities as follows:

    • Duties include leading, managing, and aiding in quality elements.
    • Quality auditing and compliance activities (Programmatic, Pre-Let, Procurement, and Post-Let).
    • Continuous improvement efforts to include the PMC's Lessons Learned initiative, AARs / RCAs.
    • PMC Governance Document development initiative.
    • Maintaining Quality oversight implementation tools and trackers.

    Additionally, will work collaboratively and assist with:

    • PMC's Organization Excellence individuals in alignment, engagement, and training.
    • Other quality-related assignments as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    • The successful candidate should understand what it means to work on behalf of the client, proactively driving to a successful outcome.
    • The successful candidate will also possess a work philosophy that diffuses tensions and apprehension, builds trust, and demonstrates genuine interest in the success of the Team/Project.
    • Should understand construction, preferably using Alternative Delivery Models, as well as how Contractors 'think'.
    • Should understand Continuous Improvement and Auditing.
    • Most importantly, the successful candidate must demonstrate the requisite soft-skill abilities as noted above.
    • Experience managing and leading multiple items, elements, and projects.
    • Being curious and having a positive mindset is essential.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Construction Management, or related field.
    • 6 to 9 years experience in planning; design; project, construction, or quality management in a technical industry.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's Degree.
    • PE, CMAA, PMP, DBIA, or ASQ certification/accreditation is a plus.
