- Intensive In-Home Family Services (2-3 times per week per case) and collaboration with community agencies (schools, social workers, foster homes, probation).
- Staff need to have a close working relationship with each Social Worker from the County (to 'wrap' services around the child).
- Available for crisis calls.
- Afternoon and Evening Services (about 4) to best connect with family work schedules.
- Documentation and Billable hours need to be completed in a timely manner.
- Full-time staff provide 109 client hours per month out of the 173 working hours available in a month (40 hours x 4.3 actual weeks per month).
- Team Culture: Because teams are a core part of your support at GMFS culture, we ask you to be engaged in your team and agency.
- Completed master's degree and working toward licensure (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP). We provide licensure supervision.
- Fully Licensed Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP).
- Demonstrated ability to work with children and families experiencing mental health issues in a direct care role.
- Familiar with a variety of counseling techniques with theories to aid in the care and treatment of individuals with mental health needs such as behavior modifications for children, child development education, communication, decision-making skills, anger management, social skills, leisure, self-esteem and basic home budgeting.
