    Description
    • Design, develop, and test embedded electrical systems for aerospace applications
    • Proficient in circuit design with knowledge of embedded microcontrollers, video image processing, battery technology, motor controllers, and power distribution.
    • Selection of components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability and determines design approaches and parameters
    • Works with avionics, embedded systems, and Radio Frequency (RF) links. Supports Flight Test operations, as needed
    • Develop and maintain electrical control systems, including wiring diagrams and schematics
    • Analyze and interpret technical data, such as specifications, blueprints, and schematics, to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations
    • Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and clients to identify and resolve technical issues and improve system performance
    • Plan and oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
    • Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide technical support to production staff as needed
    • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product reliability and performance
    • Stay current with new technologies, trends, and best practices in electrical engineering
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications and Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
    • Knowledge of common industry protocols (LVDS, I2C, HDMI, UART, SPI, CAN, USB, MIPI)
    • Familiarity with battery-powered UAVs
    • 3-10 years of relevant work experience
    • Knowledge of electrical design software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations, including NEC, UL, and CE
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Professional certification, such as Professional Engineer (PE), is preferred but not required
    • Ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required
