    Allied Consultants, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has for 32 years been a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced CAPPS Financials Technical Writer/Trainer to be a key resource on a technical services team.

    Responsibilities

    Develops and maintains documentation for CAPPS Financials, inclusive of configurations, integrations, business processes, workflows, and procedures. Artifacts produced may include business process maps, standard operating procedures, reference guides, and training materials. Assist with instruction and training efforts for end-users and helpdesk staff.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 7 years knowledge and experience using the Comptroller's CAPPS Financials application.
    • 7 years ability to understand the user's view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence.
    • 7 years of must be able to gather, analyze, translate and compose technical information into clear, readable materials to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
    • 7 years experience in collecting data and analyzing audiences and training needs, based on new business processes and policies, to apply these into successful training delivery.
    • 7 years of proven ability to teach technical courses in accordance with approved curriculum to maintain proficiency and to evaluate and develop new instructional techniques/courses.
