    Description

    Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Manager

    Company: Tech Solutions Inc.

    Role:

    Be in charge of managing cloud infrastructure, overseeing resource allocation, handling system upgrades, and managing user access control.

    • Conduct in-depth investigations into various system issues, from software bugs to hardware failures and network problems.
    • Develop tools and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Participate in on-call duties.

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Master's degree (or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • At least 3 years of experience working with Unix Linux systems, from kernel to shell and beyond.
    • 3+ years of scripting experience in Shell and Python.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience in networking configuration and systems administration on Public Cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI.
    • Strong skills in hardware and system troubleshooting.
    • Background in working in large-scale production environments.
    • Knowledge of L4/L7 load balancers.
    • Experience with kerberos, LDAP, or other account management and access control systems.

    Note:

    The ideal candidate would have some previous experience in Java Development, with the latest role being SRE.

    Location: Remote until 06/30/2022. Post this date, the candidate might need to relocate to one of the company's locations in Bay Area, LA, Seattle, or NY.

    Duration: Initially 6 months, with a high possibility of extension for 1-2 years.
