We are thrilled to present an outstanding opportunity for a talented Tax Manager at a prestigious Public Accounting firm based in Wakefield, MA. Preferred Qualifications for the Tax Manager Role:

- CPA certification is a must
- Extensive experience in public accounting
- Local residency in Wakefield, MA and availability to be present at the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
- Limited history of job changes over the past decade

Main Responsibilities of the Tax Manager:

Oversee tax projects adhering to firm and industry standards
Plan and coordinate tax assignments with clients and internal resources
Cultivate and nurture client relationships through direct engagement
Conduct thorough reviews of tax documents and research projects
Collaborate with clients and team members on project updates and opportunities
Offer guidance, training, and oversight to the team
Maintain expertise in diverse tax areas relevant to the industry
Expand client base while sustaining existing relationships
Manage business portfolio, including financial targets and operational objectives
Participate in advisory and specialized initiatives as requested

Requirements for the Tax Manager Position:

BSBA degree in Accounting
Mandatory CPA certification
At least 7 years of public accounting experience
Capability to meet deadlines and handle multiple client projects
Strong written and verbal communication competencies
Attentive to detail and organized in work approach
Familiarity with accounting principles and auditing procedures
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and ProSystem fx Tax

Key Conditions:

Hybrid work arrangement involving on-site presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
No sponsorships or visas considered, nor Corp-to-Corp arrangements
