Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, as well as experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely and in-office, depending on the candidate's preference.


Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as recording transactions, reconciling bank statements, and managing petty cash.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to help the business plan for future expenses and revenue.
• Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis to provide insights into the financial health of the business.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations to management based on findings.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud or misuse of funds.
• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) to streamline financial processes and generate accurate reports.
• Provide financial advice and guidance to management on matters such as investment decisions, cost-saving initiatives, and business expansion opportunities.
• Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and industry standards, and ensure the business remains compliant with all applicable laws and requirements.
