    Position Summary

    The Senior Director of ERP Financial Platforms will lead the strategic activities of global implementation of ERP solutions, focusing on financial operational efficiencies, organizational transformation, and technological innovation. This role encompasses driving the roadmap for global ERP scalability, spearheading financial process improvements, and fostering strong relationships across business and IT units. With a hands-on approach to ERP program execution and a keen eye for leveraging cloud and AI technologies, the Senior Director will ensure operational excellence, manage comprehensive project portfolios, and maintain fiscal discipline while advocating for and achieving strategic objectives. This visionary leader will also be instrumental in developing a high-performing team, dedicated to advancing the organization's global ERP capabilities.

    Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision and Innovation
    Drive the global ERP platform's transformation by identifying and enhancing financial operational efficiencies, developing strategies for improvement, and ensuring scalable and stable ERP implementations.Lead the ERP financial efficiency program/projects, collaborating with global stakeholders, overseeing cost-benefit analyses, and reporting on project outcomes to guide strategic decisions.Transforms business requirements into highly scalable technical solutions and leads design sessions and develops solutions for complex business processes.
  • Leadership and Relationship Management
    Provide visionary leadership and direction to the ERP team, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.Build and nurture a high-performing ERP team, fostering innovation and professional growth. Create a culture of excellence and collaboration, keeping the team motivated towards achieving strategic objectives.Cultivate strong relationships with global business and IT leaders, ensuring cohesive strategy, alignment, and execution across federated business units.
  • Fiscal Responsibility and Executive Communication
    Actively manages all project planning and execution tasks including, but not limited to:Building and maintaining detailed project management plans to include resource, schedule, and cost components to meet business requirementsConstructing detailed risk management/mitigation plansDrafting detailed communication plans that address key stakeholders' requirementsCollecting information for cost/benefit analysisTracking project expenses and budget complianceOversee the financial management of ERP platforms, including budgeting, forecasting, and demonstrating ROI to executives and stakeholders.Articulate strategic plans, progress, and financial reports to executive teams, ensuring transparency and securing buy-in for ERP initiatives.
  • Project Management and Process Improvement
    Direct comprehensive project management efforts, encompassing resource allocation, schedule management, and cost control for ERP enhancements and strategic projects.Innovate and improve financial business processes, leveraging cloud and AI technologies to uplift employee experiences for global scalability and operational excellence.
  • Technical and Architectural Expertise
    Serve as a strategic architect, designing innovative, out-of-the-box, and low-code functional solutions for 'Record to Report,' 'Procure to Pay,' and 'Contracts to Cash' modules, enhancing efficiency and adaptability across financial operations.Ensure alignment with secure coding standards, integrating test automation, and DevSecOps practices to prioritize data security, system integrity and adopt best practices to implement internal controls across all ERP modules and development processes.

  • Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's engineering degree in Information Technology or other related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 12+ yrs overall information technology experience and 5 years of management experience
  • Minimum 10+ years direct experience with all phases of implementing PeopleSoft applications to include working with executive level officers of a global organization.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering Software related technologies
  • Experience with multiple ERP applications such as PeopleSoft, MS Navision, Infor/Lawson, Oracle/Financials, Oracle or workday Financials Cloud.
  • Strong Functional knowledge of Financial supply chain PeopleSoft modules, including General Ledger, Project Costing, Contracts, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Revenue Recognition model
  • Strong knowledge of ERP tools like Peopletools (Ver 8.0, 8.45, , , 8.52, 8.53), Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Component Interface, Application Designer, Application Engine, App messaging using IB, Crystal reports, BI Publisher (XML Publisher), PeopleSoft SQR, PeopleSoft Workflow (AWE), PS Query, STAT
  • Strong knowledge of Peoplecode, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, and databases like Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g / Microsoft SQL Server 2000
  • Experience in systems architecture and understanding of the design of complex ERP and distributed systems environments
  • Excellent project management skills PMP or Agile/Scrum certification required
  • Experience in Global Data and AI projects is a plus
  • Experience with software requirements development
