    Job Summary
    Oversees efficient and effective operations of the TRIO, including Student Support Services (SSS) projects. Plans, develops, manages, and administers programs. Accountable for allocation of resources and program results.

    Supervises the delivery and evaluation of program services to ensure progress and compliance in the area of student recruitment, retention, and graduation of program participants.

    Serves as an advocate for first generation and low-income students in various Cleveland State University (CSU) settings. Responsible for proposal and federal grant writing and reporting. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree preferably in counseling, policy studies, school psychology, social work, non-profit administration, higher education, or related field.

    Five (5) years of administrative experience in an area related to the provision of academic and student support services, including budget operations, and grant writing.

    Two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
    Experience in development and/or delivery of developmental educational programming for economically and educationally under-prepared or disadvantaged students.
    Preferred Qualifications
    Master's degree preferably in counseling, policy studies, school psychology, social work, non-profit administration, higher education, or related field.
    Experience in higher education.
    Experience in TRIO programs.
    Experience with federally funded grants and the student financial aid process.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse student body, faculty, staff, and community.
    Strong organizational and excellent interpersonal skills and have a "Customer Focus" attitude and delivery.
    Ability to plan, develop, and implement comprehensive initiatives and services.
    Knowledge of administrative, supervisory, and budget management.

    Proficient in written and verbal communication skills, the ability to make effective presentations, have strong public speaking skills, develop, and drive change and effectively communicate change.

    Detailed oriented and capable of managing large amounts of data, maintain detailed comprehensive records, analyze, and organize information, have effective project, and time management skills and be well organized.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
