    Sr. Systems Analyst (technical role)
    Data Recognition Corporation - Maple Grove, MN
    Summary:
    The Systems Analyst works within the application development group translating client/product features into use cases and detailed requirements for projects. Regularly interacts with teams, product owners, clients, and various departments within DRC. Collaboration across IT domains and business units, excellent communication and relationship management skills are key.
    Responsibilities:
    • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with clients, product owners, developers, and business leaders.
    • Translate product strategy and client requests into detailed requirements.
    • Provide use cases and requirements to developers and quality testers.
    • Analyze system problems and propose technical solutions.
    • Review software requirements and testing results.
    • Provide project status updates to IT leadership and business stakeholders.

    This role involves gaining deep knowledge of EdTech and software development life cycle, aligning applications to requirements.
    Skills:

    • 4+ years in system analysis or software development.
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
    • Some experience with XML and database queries.
    Preferred Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience.
    • EdTech industry experience is a plus.
