    Job Summary:


    The Investment Banking Analyst in our FIG team will play a crucial role in supporting senior bankers by conducting sector-specific research, financial modeling, and analysis to execute transactions and provide strategic advice to our clients.

    This position is ideal for individuals who have a strong foundation in finance, a keen interest in the financial services sector, and the ability to handle complex analyses and data-intensive tasks.


    Responsibilities:


    Conduct detailed financial analysis and create financial models to evaluate business performance and simulate scenarios for mergers, acquisitions, and other advisory services.

    Prepare pitch books and client presentations to effectively communicate strategic recommendations and financial advice.
    Support deal execution by coordinating due diligence, compiling transaction materials, and liaising with clients and other stakeholders.
    Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic events that impact the financial services sector.
    Participate in client meetings and calls to gather information and assist in presenting findings and strategies.
    Assist in the development of valuation analyses and investment theses for transactions in the financial institutions sector.
    Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards specific to financial institutions during transactions.
    Work collaboratively with team members across the firm to leverage expertise and insights in the financial institutions sector.
    Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work and meeting critical deadlines.
    Support continuous improvement initiatives within the FIG team by contributing to internal strategy reviews and process enhancements.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
    1-3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or financial analysis, preferably with exposure to the financial services sector.
    Proficient in financial modeling, valuation, and analytical techniques.
    Strong understanding of the financial institutions sector and regulatory environment.
    Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks.
    Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
    Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
