- Identify innovative sourcing solutions across the enterprise, focusing on TCO modeling, sustainability, risk, and net structural cost improvements.
- Lead and execute value add/value engineering (VA/VE) programs, specifically design-to-cost activities.
- Develop, lead, and execute commodity plans and sourcing strategies.
- Negotiate key commercial and supply positions effectively.
- Utilize the 7 Step Sourcing process to address all relevant commodity management activities.
- Assemble and lead cross-functional stakeholder teams to vet and execute commodity management and sourcing strategies.
- Analyze market dynamics to understand cost drivers and develop mitigation strategies.
- Establish commodity KPI targets and supplier scorecard programs.
- Conduct supplier business reviews to address defined KPIs and business outcomes.
- Establish and track benchmark measures to ensure project success.
- Bachelors degree in business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of Production, Sourcing, or Engineering experience in a leading capacity.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams within a multi-factory environment.
- Knowledge of indirect categories cost driver dynamics and market trends.
- Ability to design effective business case justifications.
- Track record of success in delivering commodity management strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication skills.

Salary: $125k-$135k + 10% bonus
Schedule: Monday- Friday (fully on-site)
As a Commodity Manager for Indirect Materials and Services, you will play a pivotal role in our client's Sourcing function. You will be responsible for developing and executing commercially competitive commodity management and sourcing strategies across our North American locations. Your contributions will directly impact our bottom line and help drive operational excellence.
