    Role Overview

    We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Continuous Deployment, to help us craft the future of human interaction. You'll be solving unique technical challenges at scale and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Determine and implement flawless deployment strategies that enable our ambitious mission.
    • Develop highly scalable systems that deliver thousands of microservices securely across on-prem datacenters and the cloud.
    • Mature Roblox's continuous deployment system to ensure a higher level of security, performance, and stability.
    • Protect Roblox's users by ensuring production releases are protected from information security threats.

    Requirements

    • 2+ years of experience in working on service-based infrastructure.
    • BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, MS/PhD or equivalent experience are a plus.
    • Solving problems with distributed systems is exciting to you.
    • Interest in crafting and building highly available cloud infrastructure.

    Compensation

    The starting annual salary for this position is between $189,110 and $233,840 USD, depending on your professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and benefits.

    Roles based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
