    Description

    Our client is currently seeking a Head of Human Resources to join their team in New York, NY.

    Compensation: $150,000 to $200,000

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall business objectives
    • Provide strategic guidance and support to senior leadership on HR-related matters, including talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement
    • Serve as an advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
    • Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on immigration matters, providing guidance and support to employees and managers on immigration-related inquiries and issues
    • Oversee the end-to-end visa sponsorship process, including coordinating with legal counsel, preparing documentation, and liaising with government agencies to secure visas and work permits for international employees
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

    Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development
    • In-depth knowledge of immigration laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions
    • Experience managing the visa sponsorship process for international employees
    • Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, with an emphasis on compliance and risk management
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
