    Position Overview

    A reputable facility in Helena, MT is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13‑week assignment. This is a Monday–Friday day‑shift role serving both inpatient and outpatient populations. OB experience is important, and some pediatric scanning is required. The traveler will not be expected to perform ultrasound‑guided procedures or breast scanning.

    Some OB + Biophysical Profiles
    Thoracentesis & Paracentesis support (no ultrasound‑guided procedures required)
    Pediatric exams (some)
    No breast ultrasound
    GE equipment; Epic charting
    Requirements
    Active ARDMS
    BLS certification
    2+ years of ultrasound experience
    OB and some PEDS experience required
    Permanent address 70+ miles from Helena, MT
    Prior travel preferred, but first‑time travelers will be considered
    Responsibilities
    Perform high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound exams for inpatient and outpatient populations
    Ensure accurate patient positioning, image acquisition, and protocol adherence
    Communicate effectively with radiologists and clinical teams
    Maintain equipment readiness and complete documentation in Epic
    Support a wide range of general, vascular, abdominal, and OB studies
