    Description
    HiFyve has partnered with a company that manufactures and markets high-performance reflective insulation products and systems are are looking for Machine Operators for the 2nd shift Mon-Thur 3:30pm - 1:30am.

    Overview:
    Machine Operators sets up, maintains, and operates a production roll converting machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. They must have a strong understanding of the machines they work with. In-depth training may be required in order to prepare a Machine Operator for their daily duties. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications. They must be technically inclined and be able to properly utilize tools and machinery. Machine Operators must be able to analyze situations and find solutions. Candidates for this position should be detail-oriented and willing to learn. Machine Operators should be able to follow instructions, work with others, and help ensure that all safety regulations are followed.
    Experience:
    • Mechanical repair and maintenance preferred.
    • Production Line or Roll Converting operator.
    • Packing or packaging.
    • Working in small team or department.
    Responsibilities:
    • Maintain clean and organized workstation.
    • Load bulk rolls of paper and aluminum into unwinder.
    • Pack small rolls of Reflective Insulation onto pallets.
    • Inspect products and record quality observations.
    • Complete daily production, receipts, and shipping records.
    • Perform minor machine repairs.
    • Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process.
    • Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
    • Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
    • Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
    • Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.
    • Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
    • Ability to lift weights of 40-60 lbs. safely.
    Requirements:
    • Must have 3 years of Roll Converting, machine operator experience.
    • Able to stand during entire shift and wear appropriate PPE.
    • Ability to lift weights of 60 lb. safely.
    • Written and verbal communication, and mathematics.
    • Pass fork truck safety training.
    • High School Diploma/GED or higher.
    • Valid Driver's License required, CDL preferred.
    • Drug and physical screening pre-employment.
    • Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to work and communicate well with others.
    • Proficiency with hand tools.
    • Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
    • Combination of additional education and experience such as electrical.
