We invite you to apply today for Fire Alarm/Low Voltage Electrical Install Technician where you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining and repairing fire alarm systems.Key Responsibilities include reading blueprints diagrams submittals specifications software/systems programs schematics operation/product manuals managing job scheduling productivity cost effectively ensuring all work complies with relevant codes regulations ensuring Production Efficiency awareness of budget vs actual labor hours demonstrating an understanding of safety practices ensure proper maintenance care equipment trucks lifts tools etc. What We Are Looking For includes High School Diploma GED Equivalent technical vocational training low voltage electrical fire alarm systems related field prior experience installing fire alarm other low voltage electrical closely related experience lead tech experience a plus NICET Certifications strongly preferred Notifier certification a plus State specific Fire Alarm licensing preferred ability acquire valid driver license clean driving record willingness travel client sites needed solid understanding fire alarm codes standards regulations including NFPA National Fire Alarm Signaling Code relevant building fire codes proficiency reading interpreting blueprints schematics technical manuals fire alarm equipment strong troubleshooting skills diagnose resolve complex issues efficiently excellent communication customer service skills interact professionally clients team members ability work independently minimal supervision part fast paced environment Physical Requirements include standing walking hands finger handle feel reach hands arms stoop kneel crouch crawl lift carry heavy objects comfortable working various environments industrial facilities commercial buildings outdoor settings potentially expose employees noise dust heat stress thermal stress thermal stress light conditions heights fall protection equipment safety devices hand power tools specialty tools resulting cutting grinding drilling fastening torque vibration noise etc.
