    Join us as a Counselor and directly impact our patients' lives by offering counseling services including individual, family/group therapy, and fostering long-term recovery.

    Requirements:

    • CDCA (Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant) certification or higher in Ohio
    • Minimum one year (2,000 hours) of related counseling experience or supervised internship
    • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field AND LCDC III preferred
    • COVID-19 Vaccination/ approved exemption status

    Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate client's counseling needs
    • Assess clients for substance abuse diagnosis and determine appropriate care level
    • Develop client treatment and discharge plans
    • Document counseling services, assessments, referrals, and follow-up
    • Maintain client caseload and provide support services coordination
    • Collaborate with referral sources and facilitate interventions for crisis situations
    • Adhere to Pinnacle Treatment Centers' policies and federal confidentiality laws
