Job Description

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Greeter in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as a Front Desk Officer, serving as the first point of contact for staff and visitors. You will greet and screen arrivals, verify credentials, manage access logs, monitor cameras and alarms, and support incident reporting using a computer and/or tablet. Bring a people-first mindset as you help to deter security-related issues through reliable service, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.

Manage access control by checking identification, issuing temporary badges, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and coordinating notifications for scheduled appointments and/or arrivals.

Monitor entry points and front desk communications, including phone, radio, and security-related systems such as cameras and alarms, reporting irregular activity as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, fire alarms, and/or facility emergencies, and assist with site emergency response activities as directed.

Complete detailed shift documentation, including incident reports, access records, and package or key control logs, and communicate handoff information to oncoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Have a minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
