    Description

    Our client a top tier hedge fund in the New York city area is seeking a driven and detail-oriented candidate to join our team as Valuations specialist, with a focus on the pricing and valuations of Structured Credit products.

    Responsibilities:

    Maintain, monitor, and establish new procedures and controls to support intra-day and end-of-day pricing for structured credit products (Agency/Non-Agency MBS, CMBS, and CLOs).

    Coordinate with various departments and Portfolio Managers to resolve pricing, P&L, position, technology, risk, and security setup related issues for structured credit products.

    Perform daily T+1 Independent Price Verification.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a relevant role.

    In-depth knowledge of Structured Products, specifically Agency/Non-Agency MBS, CMBS, and CLOs.

    Experience collaborating with trading desks.

    Proficiency with Bloomberg and Reuters.

    Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to work.

    Collaborative team player with a strong willingness to assist others.

    Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

    Excellent communication skills and a quick learner.

    This will be an on-site opportunity out of their Midtown, NY location offering a competitive base + bonus + benefits.
