    Description
    Essential Functions and Basic Duties
    Position Specific Performance Expectations:

    • Participates in interdepartmental process improvements and process evaluation efforts.
    • Attends monthly staff meetings via Zoom.

    • Strives to ensure continual compliance with Departmental and Organizational policies and procedures and State and Federal regulations.
    • Can identify and access system to report abuse of employees and/or patients.
    • Adheres to policies and procedures for infection control, safety and risk management.
    • Scheduling patient's appointments.
    • Able to perform patient check-in and check-out.
    • Able to file patient files.
    • Follow cash handling procedures.
    • Ability to check insurance and ensure they are entered in properly.
    • Working knowledge of automated appointment scheduling.
    • Customer service experience in a high volume, multiple task, high stress environment.
    • Experience handling difficult callers, customers and patients.
    • Basic knowledge of insurance.
    • General knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products.
    • Excellent written and verbal skills.
    • Typing skills.
    • Good organization skills.
    • Communication skills.
    • PC skills.
    • Must be able to multi-task.
    • Must be able to stay on task with little to no supervision.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    o Completes annual education, training, in-service, and licensure/certification requirements; attends departmental and organizational staff meetings or reads meeting minutes.
    o Reports to work on time and as scheduled; completes work within designated timeframes.
    o Establishes and maintains effective verbal and written communication and good working relationships with all patients, staff and vendors.
    o Utilizes initiative; strives to maintain steady level of productivity; self-motivated; manages activity and time.
    o Actively participates in departmental and facility performance improvement and continuous quality initiatives.

    Qualifications
    Minimum Requirements:


    o Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions)
    o Must be able to legally work in the United States
    o Must be able to pass a background check
    o Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable)
    o Must complete employee health meeting

    Education/Licensure/Certification:

    o High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
    o Unencumbered License/Certification (if applicable)


    Experience:

    o Familiar with Medical Terminology helpful
    o Past knowledge of Microsoft Office products
    o Bilingual preferred


    Position Classification: Non-exempt

    Compensation Range: $19.16 to $26.82
