- Educating patients on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
- Aiding in the development of patients' functional skills like strengthening, coordination, balance, and endurance.
- Assisting patients in enhancing cognitive skills including memory, attention, problem-solving, and reasoning.
- Providing guidance on pre-vocational or vocational skills for individuals looking to return to work or explore new career options.
- Offering recommendations on suitable home modifications or assistive devices to facilitate a safe and successful transition back home.
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other rehabilitation professionals to devise a comprehensive care plan for each patient.
- Recording patient progress and outcomes to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments.
- Empowering patients and their families with strategies to uphold their enhanced functionality at home.
- Staying updated on the latest occupational therapy methods through ongoing education.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice professional Occupational Therapy in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- At least 2 years of experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation (preferred).
- Strong clinical logic and issues-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Displaying a caring and patient-focused approach to healthcare.
- Proficiency in documentation and maintaining medical records.
- Solid grasp of current advancements and best practices in the field of rehabilitation medicine.

Position Summary
