    Description

    Job Title: Respiratory Therapist RRT PRN

    This exciting opportunity allows you to join Rapides Regional Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist RRT PRN and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

    • In this role, you will perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a healthcare provider.
    • You will be responsible for administering oxygen delivery and aerosol medication therapy while ensuring accurate cuff pressure management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Perform patient assessment including breath sounds analysis airway patency evaluation and cuff pressure monitoring
      2. -Administer therapies such as chest physiotherapy under medical direction(li>- Assist with placement of artificial airways initiate monitor and maintain mechanical ventilation(li)- Notify providers intervene appropriately during emergent situations li>- Respond promptly during resuscitations maintaining appropriate airflow integrity
