    Position Summary:

    This position is responsible for shipping & receiving meal product by railcar and departing by truck, as well as Maintenance function as needed.


    Hourly pay rate is $ Core Functions:
    Operate systems required to receive and ship product in a safe and efficient manner Maintain and troubleshoot all equipment within the facilityPerform Maintenance activities individually or as part of a team with co-workersRepairing an inspecting electrical and mechanical equipment, operating equipment and using toolsReading and understanding Blueprints, Reading and interpreting drawingsKnow and follow all safety, environmental, and emergency proceduresComplete log sheets, load forms, and other paperwork in a timely and accurate mannerUnderstand shipping and receiving systems and product flow throughout the facilityUnderstand and follow switch engine and rail proceduresUnderstand and follow sample procedures as it relates to shipping the productDemonstrate knowledge of preventative maintenance proceduresDemonstrate skill in operating mobile equipmentCommunicate policies and procedures to others as neededMonitor product levels and assist with monthly inventoriesKeep work areas and grounds clean at all timesActively participate in all aspects of safety including near miss reporting and meetingsThis position works indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures depending on season Works at various heights and enclosed areasDemonstrate the following core values & guiding behaviors which are expected of all employees at

    Experience Requirements:
    HS Diploma or Equivalent preferred Background or Experience in the Agricultural Industry desiredKnowledge of manufacturing equipment: including, pumps, motors, conveyors, air valves, and various power sources

    Skills include:

    Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting knowledge of machines and tools including: designs, uses, repair, motor control circuits as well as predictive and preventative maintenance.

    Problem solving and trouble-shooting equipment failure skills are a must.
    Good oral and written communication skills.3-5 Years experience in manufacturing environmentUnderstanding of basic computer functionsGood reading and writing skills preferredAbility to take instruction and follow directions requiredComfortable working safely at heights and with rail equipment requiredAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions requiredStrong mechanical skills preferredProficient in basic computer skills preferredMust have initiative and demonstrate strong customer service skills requiredMust be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised requiredPositive attitude requiredBasic Microsoft software computer skills requiredAbility to work in confined spaces requiredWorking safely at heights greater than 120

    Work Schedule:
    Standard
    40 hours weekly, with OT hours weekly as needed, occasional additional OT required on weekend depending on season and need
