    This position is to assist with referrals and admissions at the Hospice House as well as clinical care needs


    $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
    for RN's with 1-5 years of recent nursing experience.


    $20,000 Sign-On Bonus
    for RN's with 5+ years of recent nursing experience
    or home health/hospice experience. One positive reference from previous home health/hospice employer required.

    Our Hospice House has a FULL TIME 40-hour position available for a Registered Nurse. Monday through Friday, 8 hour days.


    Primary Purpose of Hospice House:
    The Hospice House is a home-like environment where care is provided to hospice patients who were not able to remain in their previous setting.


    Purpose of Position:
    Identifies patient/family/caregiver needs and provides nursing and supportive care in accordance with the hospice interdisciplinary plan of care, and policies and procedures.


    Education:
    Graduate of professional school of nursing with state and regional accreditation required. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.


    Experience:
    At least one year of recent clinical nursing experience; hospice experience preferred.


    Licensure and Certification:
    Current RN license in the State of Maine; current CPR certification; nationally Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse preferred.
