Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering environments. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional beverages, providing outstanding service to guests, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Engage with customers to provide an exceptional dining experience through friendly and attentive service.
- Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Manage inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar or dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling policies.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during peak hours.
- Stay updated on beverage trends and menu offerings to enhance customer recommendations.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience with brewing techniques is a plus; knowledge of various spirits, wines, and cocktails is essential.
