    The Role

    In this role you will be responsible for delivery and growth of WTW's Via Benefits business with a book of key clients and prospects. This includes insuring excellence in client service delivery and expanding the relationships with several large current clients and prospects, with the goal of retaining current clients and obtaining new clients / populations for Via Benefits.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Lead the delivery of our services and be the primary Via Benefits relationship owner and interface for several key clients.
    • Proactively lead our relationship development efforts for several key prospects by articulating our value proposition and effectively driving the sales process with the goal of obtaining these prospects as clients.
    • Broadly promote Via Benefits with clients and in the market (internal and external), be visible and viewed as a highly credible and trusted resource with respect to our business content and broadly with client acumen.
    • The primary KPI for the role is increasing revenue under management for the book of clients and prospects you will be leading.
    • Collaborate with key business stakeholders on resolving client / participant escalations and identify improvement opportunities for the business to consider adopting.
    • Maintain CRM records proactively for proper client and pipeline management.
    • Collaborate closely with leadership, sales operations, technologists, and the consulting teams in executing on our client delivery and sales processes.
    • Participate, potentially lead, or provide feedback on various ad-hoc initiatives as determined by Via Benefits leadership. For example, this might include reimagining a client delivery template / process, reviewing a marketing deliverable or participating in a technology or business operations workstream.
    • Continuously develop content depth and expertise in benefits administration and adjacent consulting topics – primarily health benefit strategy, the individual insurance market, actuarial content (at least at a high level), and employee experience consulting topics.

    Requirements:

    • 12+ years of benefits exchange, actuarial consulting, spending account and/or benefits outsourcing experience
    • Prior and relatively recent experience in leading large complex projects, relationships or sales as an individual contributor
    • Senior leader that is well regarded in the market and by colleagues
    • Strong organization skills and an ability to prioritize and direct many competing projects
    • An executive presence with polished and well developed written and oral communication skills
    • Embraces change and can help other people deal with a very dynamic environment
    • Strong business and client relationship acumen with proven strategic and analytical abilities
    • Availability to travel on an as needed basis driven mostly by client / prospecting requirements
    • Knowledge of the individual healthcare insurance space (Medicare, pre-Medicare, protection plans, etc.) is a plus
    • Demonstrated ability to influence others through persuasion, empathy, and financial information to make decisions and act upon your recommendations
    • Proven ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively with team members in other lines of business and at all levels to effectively sell and deliver to clients
    • Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of the latest developments in spending account administration, the regulatory environment, adjacent consulting topics and contributing to the development of new tools and processes
    • Having experience in operations, technology, product development, member care, etc. with an outsourcing provider organization is a plus
