    Description

    Host Home Provider

    Company: ResCare Community Living

    A Host Home Provider is an independent contractor who opens their home to an adult with a developmental disability, providing personal care, meal planning, recreation, and more.

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive the Individual into the Provider's home and provide appropriate daily care and supervision.
    • Prevent and report any acts of disrespect, abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
    • Document individual's progress and events, maintain confidentiality.
    • Arrange medical care, provide transportation, and communicate effectively.
    • Attend meetings, maintain records, and assist in training.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
    • Training in the CAP Core Competencies.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and assist with hygiene and medical routines.
    • Strong organizational and people skills.
