- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
- Interpret diagnostic results and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
- Manage chronic cardiovascular diseases, including heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmias.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, primary care physicians, and surgeons, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education on cardiovascular health and disease management.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical conferences.
- Engage in clinical research activities and contribute to the advancement of cardiology.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in cardiovascular medicine.
- Mentor and provide guidance to medical residents and fellows.
