SPMF-Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation - South
Responsible for providing integrative psychotherapy through the modality of using expressive arts therapy with individuals, children and families.
Works in partnership with physicians, other health practitioners and administrative staff on care coordination and treatment planning, and is the principle team resource for all mental health matters.
The position also collaborates with the other psychotherapists to implement and sustain best practices in the area of integrative psychotherapy and guided imagery, and to stay abreast of research and best practice in the field of behavioral health and integrative medicine.
Management reserves the right to revise the job description or require that other tasks be performed when the circumstances of the job change (for example, emergencies, staff changes, workload, or technical development).
Provides individual and group integrative psychotherapy sessions to patients, children and families.Participates in integrative medicine and psychotherapeutic training and related continuing education to maintain licensure, and develop diagnostic and treatment skill set.
Master's:
Degree in a Mental Health discipline
Ability to assess the needs of the patient, provide high quality integrative psychotherapy, guided imagery and other evidenced based approaches as indicated.
Capacity to work within the integrative medicine model as practiced at the Institute for Health & Healing and in line with most recent research findings regarding behavioral health in the ambulatory care setting.
