    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

    Dental Hygiene Assistant

    to join our dynamic dental practice.

    In this role, you will be an integral part of the care team, supporting Dental Hygienists and ensuring patients receive exceptional preventive oral health care in a friendly and professional environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization
    Assist Dental Hygienists during patient procedures
    Update patient health histories and document treatment progress
    Expose and develop radiographs (if certified)
    Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
    Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and instrument sterilization
    Support patient scheduling, treatment recommendations, and recall systems
    Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
    Required Qualifications

    Minimum

    6 months of hands-on experience

    as a Dental Assistant, Dental Hygiene Assistant, or completion of a Dental Assistant Internship
    High school diploma or GED
    Active

    X-Ray Certification
    Current

    CPR Certification
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
    Preferred Qualifications

    Associate's Degree or Dental Assisting certification
    CDA, RDA, or EFDA credentials
