    Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Palo Alto, CA.Summary:The client is currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our data center team. This role will provide network design, implementation, and operational support for the company's datacenters.Responsibilities:

    • Senior Network Engineer will help design and build new datacenters
    • Work closely with other team members; Help on maintaining and growing existing datacenter networks
    • Work with the company's key application teams to support their growth
    • Provide high availability & reliability to network
    • Develop automation methods to rapidly deploy, configure and update network equipment
    • As a Senior Network Engineer, you will assist with network troubleshooting
    • Requirements gathering, analyze, and propose solution to networking needs
    • Monitor, analyze, and report metrics of network services
    • Conduct product POC evaluation
    • Document network knowledge base and operational -Run-Book-
    • 5 years of experience in mid/large-scale global enterprise networking infrastructure
    • Extensive experience in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols (spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, end to end QOS, RDMA, InfiniBand, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, ACL and infrastructure cabling
    • Strong Experience with Arista switches; Experience with Juniper, PAN and SONiC is additional
    • Good cabling & optics knowledge
    • Experience with various tools such as Protocol Analyzer, SNMP, flow, IPAM, RADIUS, Splunk, network taps, and load/stress testing
    • Experience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and collect metrics
    • Basic experience with DevOps tools and technologies
    • CCNP, JNCIP preferred

    The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
