Job summary
The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing specialized technical tasks in Diagnostic Ultrasound utilizing high frequency sound waves to assist medical personnel in detecting anatomical abnormalities.The technologist will perform procedures according to departmental format, complete exams in allotted time,
and maintain records of ultrasound taken. The technologist will also provide technical assistance and instruction to students,
employees, and medical residents.
- Maintains records of ultrasound taken
- Evaluates technical quality of images
- Determines prepares sets up medical supplies instruments equipment.
- Greets all patients when they arrive for their exam using A.I.D.E.T. standards.
