    Description
    We are seeking a

    Certified Network Defense Analyst

    to join our growing team.

    As a Certified Network Defense Architect, you will review current systems security measures and be responsible for designing/building/testing systems within a network.

    You will respond to Cyber events when they occur and defend against potential attacks. You will work to identify and analyze anomalies to detect potential threats.

    This role resides in our Client Support team and reports to our VP of Cyber Operations. This position is located on sitewith the customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.

    SIXGEN supports cyber and intelligence missions by serving government and commercial organizations as they overcome global cybersecurity challenges. Our highly skilled operators conduct research and assessments based on real-world threats. We simulate adversaries and malicious actors to report details and actionable findings on critical assets and infrastructures. Our program planners advise mission owners to bring rapid solutions to intelligence mission leaders. Using innovative processes, tools, and techniques, we predict and overcome cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Our successes are supported by our diverse team of experienced, technical talent.     Core Responsibilities:
    Experience with network mitigations and support.
    Profile targets and activities, ensure target continuity, and pioneer procedures to gather additional evidence.
    Categorize intelligence gaps to modify current collection or allow new collection to close the gaps.
    Provide context, documentation and dissemination of findingsincluding any new tradecraft that you developwith teammates, stakeholders, and intelligence consumers.


    Required Skills and Experience:
    Ability to identify areas of weakness within a secured network.
    Experience supporting multi user computing environments and managing networks.
    Experience with data collection from firewalls, logs and detection systems.
    Ability to identify and respond to vulnerabilities.
    Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure team environment.
    Military training.
