Contract: 20-30 hrs/week

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 8 months + possible extensions

Rate: $70-80/HR

Our Client's Foundation's Back to Work 50+ (BTW50+) program supports unemployed and underemployed older adults, particularly those living with low income, by helping them build confidence, develop job-search skills, and reenter the workforce in higher-quality roles.

We are seeking an experienced Career Coach to deliver individualized coaching, facilitate group sessions, support community programming, and contribute to ongoing program optimization. This role is ideal for a compassionate, organized coach who thrives in mission-driven work and enjoys supporting older job seekers through meaningful career transitions.

Key Responsibilities

1:1 Career Coaching & Office Hours

Deliver individual coaching (45-minute sessions plus documentation and follow-up)
Maintain a weekly coaching schedule using virtual scheduling tools
Conduct coach office hours to provide additional participant support

Group & Community Programming

Host and support weekly community/networking sessions
Deliver bi-weekly group career coaching workshops (e.g., resumes, networking, job search strategies, AI tools)
Update and maintain session content and participant resources

Program Administration & Reporting

Accurately document coaching interactions and outcomes in Foundation systems (e.g., Salesforce/FIS, Smartsheet)
Track employment outcomes and participant progress
Contribute to a year-end report including metrics, insights, and recommendations

Collaboration & Program Optimization

Participate in regular check-ins and quarterly meetings with Foundation staff
Provide subject-matter expertise to support program evaluation and continuous improvement
Assist with data gathering and planning related to future program enhancements

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

Minimum 1 year of experience providing career or job-search coaching
Experience supporting older adults, individuals with low income, and/or individuals with disabilities
Strong empathetic listening skills and emotional intelligence
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and participant privacy
Ability to adhere to Foundation's code of conduct
Comfort working in fully virtual environments

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

Experience assessing job-seeker needs and referring participants to additional resources
Familiarity with virtual coaching platforms and client management systems
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Knowledge of current labor market trends and challenges faced by older job seekers
Experience collaborating with other coaches or cross-functional program teams

Eligibility Requirements:

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
As a contractor, including remote contractors, you may be required to complete a background check.

As a contractor, you will be paid for the time you work; this does not include paid time off (PTO) or holidays. If you participate in our Payroll Services (W2) engagement, you may be eligible for Paid Sick Leave (PSL), depending on your work location and state-specific regulations.
