    Description
    Optim Health System is seeking a Full Time Radiology Tech (flex shift) for our Reidsville, GA location.

    Job Requirements:
    • Greets patients.
    • Completes chart prep for providers.
    • Accepts imaging discs from outside facilities and imports to our PACS system.
    • Provides information to diagnose patient illnesses by operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs.
    • Ensures the operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
    • Verifies patient information.
    • Minimizes radiation to the patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding and knowledge of exposure factors.
    • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.
    Education:
    • Current license with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
