    Position Description

    Korsmo Construction is looking for a Preconstruction Manager in our Tacoma office.

    Korsmo Construction has been around since the late 1940's and serves clients throughout the greater Puget Sound Region. We define service as providing a positive, professional, and lasting experience to those we work for as well as to those we work with.

    The Preconstruction Manager's primary role is to lead and support the preconstruction teams on individual projects and activities including scheduling, budgeting, estimating, and value engineering. The ability to build rapport and respect with the client is critical to this role. This position reports to the Sr. Preconstruction Manager but success is critically dependent on this individual's abilities to lead, communicate, and build consensus with the owner, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

    The position is fulltime (40 hours), and the salary range is $120k to $145k per year depending on experience.

    Position Requirements

    Position requires a bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, 10-15 years as a GC including the roles of Project Manager and/or Estimator or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have demonstrated leadership abilities, communication, time management, and organizational skills as well as the ability to build respect and speak effectively to executive level client management. Must have competency in MS Windows as well as MS Office365.
